Our half day mountain rides are for canter-riders only, the rides go up into the hills to enjoy the rugged terrain of the open mountain. With the Snowdon range on one side and the Irish Sea on the other, this is a unique experience and how better than from the back of a horse – it’s a different world!
The mountain rides are a 3 hour experience, the route taken offers a canter for experienced riders and limited gallops are available subject to the terrain being suitable.
Children and adults need to be able to hack out on open ground and canter independently to take part in this ride.
Price: £85.00 (per person).

- Please note we have a weight limit of 16 stone (101 kg) for horse welfare reasons.
- Payment is accepted by credit or debit card and cash or cheque (made payable to Snowdonia Riding Stables).

Gift Certificates
- Gift certificates of a set value are available for purchase and can be redeemed against all rides. They are valid for 6 months from of the date of issue & cannot be exchanged for cash. Please call or email Snowdonia Riding Stables for details.

- Riding hats are provided at no extra charge and safety stirrups are fitted to the saddles.
- Our rides are adjusted in length and pace to suit your ability and requirements.

- Inspection welcome.
- The mountain rides are not suitable in inclement weather so if you are booked in and the weather is poor, please phone before you come.

We visited the snowdonia riding stables for a 30th birthday surprise. From start to finish the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. After a quick assessment of each rider they match you with adequate horse somehow they managed to pair up each rider with a horse that matched their personality trait. The ride up the mountain was incredible with some amazing views. We couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you
