The Introductory ride is a countryside ride at a walking pace. This is a popular ride for adults and children but more popular for the younger children who cannot ride unassisted.
This walk ride is suitable for first-time or nervous riders and small children. This involves some basic instruction in the paddock or school followed by a countryside ride at a walking pace.
Parents of small children will be asked if they would like to walk along with their child leading the pony – if so, instruction will be given.
The trek leaders are always on hand to help if necessary.
Minimum age: 5 years and above.
Price: £25.00 (per person).

- Please note we have a weight limit of 16 stone (101 kg) for horse welfare reasons.
- Payment is accepted by credit or debit card and cash or cheque (made payable to Snowdonia Riding Stables).

Gift Certificates
- Gift certificates of a set value are available for purchase and can be redeemed against all rides. They are valid for 6 months from of the date of issue & cannot be exchanged for cash. Please call or email Snowdonia Riding Stables for details.

- Riding hats are provided at no extra charge and safety stirrups are fitted to the saddles.

- The mountain rides are not suitable in inclement weather so if you are booked in and the weather is poor, please phone before you come.
